B Deck profiles are 1.5-inch deep structural roof deck that provide both vertical load and diaphragm shear capacity.  The wide ribs make the profile an ideal structural substrate to uniformly support roofing systems applied on top of the deck.  Type B profiles are typically used for span conditions of 10 feet or less.

Acoustical version of this deck (1.5BA, 1.5BIA and 1.5PLBA) are available. A variety of side-lap features are also available including nested (1.5B), interlocking (1.5BI), and PunchLok II connection (1.5PLB).

Learn More About the PunchLok II System

The PunchLok II System uses a specially designed pneumatic tool to achieve a stronger and more positive attachment than screwed sidelaps or conventional button punches.

N Deck profiles have 3-inch deep ribs making them ideal for span conditions greater than 10 feet or when a specific aesthetic look is desired.  The narrow low flutes and wide high flutes create a very uniform look from the bottom side.

Our 32” wide N deck adds an extra eight inches to the width of the deck, which translates to greater coverage per sheet, reducing the numbers of sheets that have to be laid.

Acoustical versions of this deck (3NLA-32, 3NIA-32, 3PLNA-32, 3NA-24 and 3NIA-24) are available. A variety of side-lap features are also available including nested (3NL-32, 3N-24), interlocking (3NI-32, 3NI-24) and PunchLok II connection (3PLN-32).

Non-Composite Floor Deck

Vulcraft’s Non-Composite Deck is used as a foundation for floors, stairways, or mezzanines. The deck acts as a permanent base that supports the concrete until it is cured and gives it lateral stability. Each type of form deck differs in terms of the weight of the concrete that it can support. The uniform load being supported generally is not a factor when selecting a non-composite deck because it is only being used to form concrete and not designed to provide positive reinforcement.

Vulcraft’s Non-Composite Deck help to produce an efficient and economical structural floor solution for elevated floor systems. These decks come in a variety of finish options.

Vulcraft Non-Composite Floor Decks are IAPMO (IAPMO UES ER-652) and UL Listed. These decks are designed in accordance with the ANSI/Steel Deck Institute NC-2017 and RD-2017.
