This 71,000 sq. ft. aquatic facility houses a nine-lane, 50-meter Olympic-sized pool and seating for up to 1,200 spectators. Vulcraft’s roof system included top chord double pitched, deep long-span steel joists that clear-spanned 160 feet. Also, the exposed ceiling joists and MEP provide an aesthetically interesting component in the design. The scope of this project included special joists, bridging, deck, and deck accessories.
